Excellent creative thinking in Buenos Aires & Berlin
Publication by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
The first class of the Master’s degree program Open Design recently presented its projects on the subject of growth. The papers show the number of conceptual and creative ways in which this universal, biological and social phenomenon can be approached: from large-scale urban interventions in three cities to an article of clothing that supports and covers the growing stomach of a pregnant woman well at each stage.
Open Design is an interdisciplinary Master's degree programme open to students of all disciplines with a Bachelor's degree. The programme focuses on the "design turn". Students will learn empirical methodologies from the field of cultural studies and humanities, analyse scientific experimentalisation from the natural sciences, and establish creative connections with the design disciplines.
