Proxima Centauri b // A speculative inquiry into life, growth and evolution
Project Team // Open Design Team
October 2016 – March 2017
In August 2016 a new planet Proxima Centauri b was discovered by the European Southern Observatory. The particular conditions of this planet allowed scientist to research and speculate about the potential of this exoplanet.

Stage 1 // Cooperation & Exhibition
In the frame of a two weeks interdisciplinary workshop the students of the Master Program Open Design directed by Dr. Ing. Khashayar Razghandi and Prof. Dr. Or Ettlinger, carried out an incremental day-by-day growth process by building up complexity and life forms on the planet Proxima Centauri b.
The outcome resulted in an exhibition of the planet with proposals for climate, landscape, life forms and interactions.
